Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, you will:

  • Report directly to the CEO and collaborate on new initiatives while serving as a vital member of the Business Development team to drive overall Maya market opportunity.
  • Pursue new business opportunities, and facilitate the transition of closed accounts to Onboarding. 
  • Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams.
  • Identify key growth initiatives.
  • Build external relationships via conferences and networking.

 

Technical Skills

Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Contact Relationship Management (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, etc)
  • Skill using Mac OS preferred.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Right to live and work in the US, we are not offering sponsorship as part of this role.
  • Minimum 3 years of outbound cold-calling experience with a short-term sales cycle (less than 3 months from initial contact to closed-won).
  • Demonstrable track record of success closing new business opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working in early-stage technology start-ups.
  • Experience working with SaaS.
  • Basic knowledge and familiarity with the Psychedelic Medicine landscape, research, and emerging industry
  • Comfort discussing both legal and illicit psychedelic compounds and adjacent subject matter

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a business development capacity in the healthcare industry.

Compensation

An annual base salary of $45,800.00 - $50,000.00 will be offered, based on experience. It is expected for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $91,600 - $100,000. As an early-stage team member, you may be awarded equity ownership after a 90-day probationary period.

While our HQ is located in RiNo, Denver, this role leaves room for remote work. We prioritize a healthy culture, uncapped vacation time, and a health benefits package for full-time employees. This includes Health Insurance, Dental, and Vision options.
