Alex has combined her passions for technology and psychology as the VP of Product at Maya. Previously, as head of product and one of the first employees at Baker Technologies, she implemented agile development, on-boarding and tech support processes integral to the company’s success. Before entering the tech startup space, she worked for multiple clinical research teams at the University of North Carolina developing technology enhanced, evidence based mental health treatment models. Alex is interested in leveraging technology to accelerate psychological research, improve mental health intervention, and promote individual wellbeing.

Why are you passionate about psychedelic-assisted healing?
‍I have always been interested in how the human mind works, and its impacts on the way that we converse with the world around us. We are constantly integrating our experiences throughout our journey to find purpose and connection. I believe that psychedelics-assisted healing can help us to both individually and collectively realize our path to fulfillment.

What do you believe is your gift to the universe?
‍I listen to people with empathy and non judgment with the intention of making them feel seen.
