Why are you passionate about psychedelic-assisted healing?
Psychedelic healing has helped me recover from some of the biggest struggles in my life. My first life-changing psychedelic experience happened while I was working my way out of a suicidal depression. Over the course of one psychedelic journey, spending time in nature with friends and slowing down, I remembered what it felt like to be me again. What it felt like to see the world and myself through beautiful rose-colored glasses. To easily laugh and cry. To feel light and unburdened. It was at that moment that I realized I needed to get behind this work, so that more people who are struggling could find solace in these medicines.
What do you believe is your gift to the universe?
I’m a connector. I’ve connected people to their jobs, their most satisfying community, to their business partner, their greatest healers and their best friends. I see a divine opportunity for connection and find great fulfillment in bridging the gaps for others to succeed.
Anything else interesting you’d like to share?
My father, a natural skeptic of most things, recently posed a question in a debate, “So do you think everyone should take this medicine?” My response: “Do you think everyone should exercise?” I told him I see a future where our mental and spiritual health is seen as just as important as our physical health. Where self-maintenance and reflection are necessary to grow, heal, and succeed in the world.
