Jesse is a self taught programmer who has been writing code since he was 12 years old. His current technological passions lie in game development, generative glitch art, and making tools that make other developers happy. He also loves studying linguistics, anthropology, and art. When he isn’t writing software, you can find him climbing, cycling, skateboarding, or camping. He is always down for an adventure.
Why are you passionate about psychedelic-assisted healing?
I have seen the positive impact that the thoughtful use of psychedelics can have on people, and I want to be a part of the movement that will show how effective it really is.
What do you believe is your gift to the universe?
Creative problem solving with the ability to combine all of my past experiences in disparate areas to come up with new, unique solutions. Emergent thinking is a pretty good description of how I approach problems.
Anything else interesting you’d like to share?
Being a software engineer, it is sometimes difficult to find a job that truly aligns with my morals and principles. So many startups are driven only by profit, and I think this greed has caused a real problem in our world today. I am so lucky to get to work for a team where I do not have to compromise any of my values.
